Pilgrim Wood is hosting our school-wide Winter Carnaval, on February 1st and 2nd.

On Wednesday Feb. 1st, students from all grades will join together to enjoy a celebration assembly, the crowning of our King and Queen of Carnaval, and participate in team outdoor activities. In addition, students will be offered hot chocolate (chocolate chaud) to help celebrate the traditions of our Winter Carnaval.

On Thursday Feb. 2nd, students will be treated to a cabane à sucre, where they will be served maple toffee (tire d'érable) on snow.

Please be advised that during Carnaval, students will be offered hot chocolate and maple toffee. While the school is aware of those students with life threatening allergies, please advise your child's teacher if you DO NOT want your child to consume hot chocolate or maple toffee. Since there will not be a permission form sent home this year, if the school does not hear from parents, we will assume that the child is permitted to partake of the Carnaval treats.
