Cashless Schools - monitor your Balance

As a follow-up to the previous notification from the Board, Cashless Schools will no longer be available after June 25, 2017 to accept online payments. Families/staff will receive information during the month of June on how to register for our new School Cash Online service.

We hope you have been using your balances in your Cashless Schools wallets to pay for school events and activities over the past few weeks. As Cashless Schools and School Cash Online are independently operated vendors, the Board is unable to arrange for a transfer of unused wallet balances between the two systems. Many parents/staff have been asking, “What will happen to the balances remaining in my Cashless Schools wallet?” At this time, two options are available:

1) Request a withdrawal of unused wallet funds to your Cashless Schools Pre-Authorized Debit account, (shown online under “Your Account > Saved Bank Accounts), or 
2) Make a donation to your school through Cashless Schools for the amount of the funds in your wallet you do not wish to be refunded. Look for the appropriate donations fee and make your donation before June 25, 2017. Upon request to the school, donations of $20 or more may be tax receipted.

The refund process for parents/staff who have Pre-Authorized Debit in Cashless Schools is simple. 
1) Under your “Cashless Account” select the “Withdraw” button and follow the instructions. 
2) Funds will be returned to the designated bank account in approximately 1-2 weeks.

Instructions on How to setup Pre-Authorized Debit:
1) Under your “Cashless Account” select the “Deposit” button
2) Click on the “Add a Bank Account Link”
3) Print the Authorization Form. Complete the form and attach a void cheque.
4) Return the form to Cashless Schools by email, fax or mail
5) Wait for the email from Cashless Schools to confirm your account has been setup. Please allow one week for setup due to increased volume.
