Pizza and milk for Term 2 will run after the break for two weeks. TERM 3 will start on April 3rd when we return from Easter weekend. We have left pizza and milk up on School Cash until Sunday evening of March break. All payments are due by March 18th for TERM 3. No late payments will be accepted so please do not delay, order today to ensure your child is on the list.

Sub days will run for Term 3 on Thursdays starting on April 12th and ending on June 21st. IF you would like to participate in the lunch program please purchase your subs on School Cash On Line by April 3rd

Thank you to all of the families who purchased tickets to the Marlies game on Tuesday, March 20th. Tickets will be distributed to those students on Monday, March 19th.

Mark your calendars for this year's 5th anniversary of Pilgrim Wood's Eco Fest on Thursday April 26th at 5:00 pm. The goal of our event is to inspire others to live sustainably, connect the community and and start taking action! The event is Pay What You Can to attend and helps to support our OAK program at school (like buying seeds, gloves and tools)! Remember to bring your own mug for coffee and tea. Here are some of the activities we have planned for you:

Electric Cars 101: The Golden Horseshoe Electric Vehicle Association (GHEVA) is back again to run 
How to: Make your house more sustainable: Hart Jansson is running 2 workshops, at 5:00 and 5:30, from his experience building a Passive Home 
Solar power your home: Talk to Dave about his journey installing the largest Net Metering system in Oakville.
Student Projects: From coral reefs to the arctic, wind turbines to palm oil, come support all the hard work students have put in to bring awareness to topics important to them
Learn to Grow: seed bombs, sub irrigated planters, and learn how to care for our gardens in the summer
The Big Pull: learn how to identify invasive species in the forest to help keep it healthy
David Suzuki's Blue Dot Movement: learn about this important Canadian project
Eco Schools Platinum: learn how you can help support us as we go for the highest certification possible 
Indigenous Water Advisories: did you know there are 81 First Nation communities with drinking water advisories?
Halton Eco Clubs: find out about the eco initiatives at Blakelock, Abbey Park and Gladys Speers 
Virtual Reality to the Reefs 
Cupcakes from Me to We

We wish all of our students and their families a safe and enjoyable March break. We dismiss at 3:20pm on Friday and return to school on Monday, March 19th at 8:50am. Have a great week off!
