Halloween At Pilgrim Wood P.S.

Halloween at Pilgrim Wood Public School

We would like to invite our community to celebrate Halloween on Wednesday, October 31st.  Students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 will have the opportunity to wear their Halloween costumes to school that day.  Please send your son/daughter to school already dressed in their costume (with their clothes underneath for easy changing). We will be taking our costumes off at first break before we go outside and eat.

We ask that students not bring accessories to their costume (e.g. swords, brooms, helmets, etc.) as these present a safety risk.  We welcome students to wear make-up on their faces, but ask that masks be left at home. For those who do not wish to wear a costume but would still like to participate, Black and Orange are the best colours to wear that day.  We look forward to seeing all the creative costumes on Halloween.  Please do not send any food or candy.

Students’ who wish not to participate, will have an alternative activity in the library during that time.

Because our numbers are very large this year, for safety reasons, we ask those families of students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 who wish to attend the parade to limit two (2) members per family.  When parents arrive we ask you to go to the gym directly and line up against the walls. All FDK-Gr3 students will parade through the gym.
