What are you doing on February 18th? We hope you are going to the Marlies game with the rest of PW to support the Pilgrim Wood Concert Band who is performing the Canadian National Anthem. Tickets are on cashless. Please note, the school is obligated to sell a set number of tickets and if we do not reach this set amount we risk losing this amazing opportunity for our students.

Dear Grade 8 Parents,
Please save the date for Wednesday February 22nd at 6:30pm ! We will be meeting at Pilgrim Wood School in the library.
The Grade 8 Grad Theme for 2017 is “Hollywood Boulevard”! The Grad is to take place on Tuesday 27th June.
There is a lot of organizing that goes into making this evening a memorable one for our Grad 8 Graduates, so we do require “all hands on deck”.
Please read the following 3 main areas of parental involvement and let us know where you would like to help out.
1. Food
This requires organizing (i.e. buying, pick up of food orders and prepping) the food for the evening. Grade 8, as well as Grade 7 parents are asked to donate food and drinks. We normally receive some donations from grocery stores in the neighbourhood.
We are also asking anyone who has food and beverage connections, to please let us know!
2. Graduation gifts
Purchasing and arranging gifts for the graduates.
3. Decorations
This is by far the most work since it also involves the set up of the gym and the cleaning up after the event.
At the meeting we will hand out tasks for parents to do!
There will be a lot of printing to be done, so anyone who has connections in this department, please let us know.
We are also looking for anyone who has connections to lighting and a good sound system, to please contact us.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting on February 22nd! If you are unable to attend, please let us know via Email where you will be helping out.
Thank you
Diane Clarke Carolin Stuve-Boushy
