With the assistance of paid lunchroom supervisors, staff provide supervision during nutrition breaks.  This means that many teachers will be limited in their availability during nutrition breaks for parent contacts, student support and possible activities for students. In September, a request will be made to fund a lunch supervisor program.  This worked very well last year and provided enough adults to cover most of the supervision during the second nutrition break.  It reduced the number of lunch duties for teachers and provided a higher student/adult ratio.

Notes for leaving school property: Due to the shortness of the first nutrition break, students are expected to stay at school.  If a special circumstance requires that a student go home every day, a written note is required from a parent.  If you wish your son/daughter to come home only on certain days, a written request must be given to the homeroom teacher each day the request is made.  Please include the date on the note.
