Class Gifts from Parent(s)/Guardian(s)
We would ask that parent(s)/guardian(s) not send in items (food, gifts, cards, etc) for the teacher to distribute to all students in the class. While we appreciate the thoughtfulness, we’re not quite ready for this practice at school. Any items sent in will respectfully be returned home with your child.
January 3rd Return - Covid Screening Verification
Returning back on January 3rd, students will be required to show that their morning Covid screening has been completed for 2 weeks. Students in older grades with technology may use their phone to show the “passed” Covid screening. For students without technology, please see attached a form that can be used to record the completed screening to bring to school every morning until Jan 14 (inclusive). We will be sending home a hard copy for all students this week.
Food Drive
Many thanks to the families who have supported our Food Drive to support Fare Share Food Bank of Oakville. We will most likely exceed our goals of 1500 items. The last day to donate to the food drive is Thursday, Dec 16th. All food will be picked up later on Thursday. Special thanks to Ms. Kavanagh’s Grade 6 class for organizing and running the food drive this year.
Travelling Out of Canada during the Winter Break
A reminder that Federal rules outline that unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated children are required not to attend school for 14 days upon re-entry into Canada. Please ensure you are aware of any temporary border restrictions and measures to address COVID-19 Omicron variant of concern.

Parking on Side Streets Around the School
When picking up your child(ren), please be considerate of our neighbors and not park your car across residents' driveways which could prevent them from leaving their house.
